Jacquelyn "Jacquie" Marie Seiler

Jacquelyn Marie Seiler of Independence, Kansas passed away the morning of September 10, 2020 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas after a short illness.
She was born December 21, 1940 in Lowell, Massachusetts the daughter of Thomas J. and Alma (Desrochers) Connors, both of whom preceded her in death.
Jacquie was united in marriage to Paul Seiler in Charlevoix, Michigan on November 27, 1978. He preceded her in death in 2008.
Before moving to Independence, Kansas Jacquie was employed by the City of Ventura, California as Executive Assistant to the City Manager.
She was a longtime avid fan of the Los Angeles Rams, a passionate animal lover and ready at a moments notice to lend her support to family and friends. We will miss her infectious laughter and sense of humor.
She is survived by a son, Robert L. (Matilda) Wilson of North Lake, Texas and a daughter, Lorrianne (Bryan) Horin of Independence, Kansas, grandchildren, Rebecka F. (Nicholas) Reid of Independence, Kansas, Kris Bryant of Independence, Kansas, Tiffany Bryant of Independence, Kansas, 2 great grandchildren, Kalista and Zack, brother, Thomas J. (Dorothy) Connors of Mission, Texas, 2 nieces, Tracy J. Connors, Erin M. (Aaron) Miesner, nephew, Thomas J. (Joann) Connors II, close family friend, Christopher Olson all of Independence, Kansas 5 great nephews, 4 great nieces and her beloved dog, Sammy.
Celebration of Jacquie’s Life will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas.
The family will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Interment will follow the service at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Independence, Kansas.
Memorial remembrances are suggested to AWOL and they may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
