Glena J. Patry

Glena J. Patry, 56, a resident of Fall River, Kansas, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the Specialty Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. She was born January 22, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Glen and Betty (Yates) Wood. She was a graduate of Cheney High School. She worked many years with her father in the roofing business and most currently worked for Five J"s Maintenance. Glena"s favorite pastime was playing with her grandchildren and niece and nephew. Glena is survived by: Her Children: Eric Hughes of Elk Falls, Kansas Stephanie Meyer of Plainville, Kansas Warren Glen Patry of Fall River, Kansas Her Siblings: Danny Wood of Severy, Kansas Beverly Ehrenberger of Wichita, Kansas Donna Neth of Wichita, Kansas David Wood of Fall River, Kansas Derek Wood of Fredonia, Kansas Long-time Companion: John Schouten of Fall River, Kansas Six Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Patrick Hughes. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, May 12, 2008 at the Fall River Christian Church with Rev. Rocky Schmied of the Heartland Hospice officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, 4:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. A memorial has been established in her name with the Heartland Hospice and may be sent to the funeral home. Family condolences may be left on this website.
