Eric E. Whittley

Eric E. Whittley, 53, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, at his residence in Cherryvale.

Eric Everett Whittley was born April 5, 1970, in Norman, Oklahoma the son of Earl Whittley and Carol (Robords) Whittley. He grew up in Cherryvale and attended Cherryvale schools. He received certificates in Auto Mechanics.

On November 10, 1993, in Altamont, Kansas he was united in marriage to Amy Shepard, and they were later divorced.

Eric worked for Charloma in his younger years. He most recently was employed with Hix Corporation in Pittsburg, Kansas as brake press operator. He also worked on the family farm.

He enjoyed music, riding dirt bikes, electronics, anything that had to do with remote controls and was good at figuring things out if it needed fixed. He loved to have fun and be around friends and family.

Survivors include his parents, Earl and Carol Whittley of Cherryvale, Kansas, daughters, Kourtni Whittley (Judd Noble) of Cherryvale, Kansas, Rylee Shepard-Whittley of Parsons, Kansas, brothers, Curtis Whittley of Cherryvale, Kansas, Aaron Whittley of Cherryvale, Kansas and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place with Celebration of Life Services held at a later date under the guidance of Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas 67335.
