Emma Jane Harrison

Emma Jane Harrison, 85, long time resident of Fredonia and Altoona, Kansas, passed away, Saturday, February 5, 2022 in Chanute, Kansas.

Emma was born May 8,1936 to Allen and Emma (Mitchell) Mayes, sibling to 8 sisters and one brother. She attended Madison High School.

She was united in marriage to Larry Harrison, they later divorced. He preceded her in death.

Emma enjoyed reading, was a good cook, loved her family and dogs.

Emma is survived by her children, Donna Cornwell, Altoona, Kanas, Terry Lopez, Bonner Springs, Kansas, Deborah Walker, Bonner Springs, Kansas, Richard Harrison, Topeka, Kansas, 11 grandchildren, many great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Virgil (Bud) Urton.

Services will be held at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 510 N. 7th, 2:00 pm, Friday, February 11, 2022. Visitation will be Friday February 11, 2022 at the funeral home from noon until service time.
