Elizabeth Ann Armstrong, 78, lifelong resident of Fredonia, Kansas passed away, March 3, 2022, at Kansas City Hospice House.
Elizabeth was born March 12, 1943, in Fredonia, Kansas to Thomas and Ina (Robertson) O'Brien. She attended Fredonia High School and graduated with the class of 1962.
She was partnered to James Millar, and he preceded her in death on November 6, 2019.
Elizabeth worked at ADM as a secretary, ran the printing press at Kansas Bank Note and was the director of Meals on Wheels until her death. She enjoyed motorcycles, cooking, making homemade noodles, races, and decorating the house. She would go all out for family dinners. She was a member of the Grace First Church and the Senior Citizen Center.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, David Armstrong, sisters; Alice Lancaster, Wichita, Kansas and Rosalee Hawley, Fredonia, Kansas, grandchildren; Ethan James Armstrong and Marshall Cole Armstrong.
In addition to her partner, James, Elizabeth was preceded by her parents, Thomas and Ina and sisters, Joanne Wilbur, and Connie Lynn Robertson.
Graveside services will be 10:30 A.M., March 26, 2022, at the Fredonia, City Cemetery under the direction of Wickham Family Funeral Home, 510 N. 7th Fredonia, Kansas.
Memorials are suggested to the Meals on Wheels and may be mailed to or left at the funeral home.
