Edward Wayne Wall, 83, of Altoona, Kansas has sadly passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Morningstar Assisted Living in Neodesha, Kansas.
He was born on June 12, 1941, in Fredonia, Kansas the son of Edward Wilson Wall and Ella G. Wall.
On May 31, 1968, in Independence, Kansas he was united in marriage to Norma Ann (Sutton) Wall, and she preceded him in death July 24, 2013.
Wayne led a fulfilling life filled with hard work and passion. After graduating from Altoona High School in 1959, he embarked on a successful career that brought him joy and satisfaction. He retired as a Loader Operator for Monarch Cement Plant in Humboldt, Kansas after 29 years.
Outside of work, Wayne found solace in his hobbies of hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Wayne is survived by his, son, Clifford Wall (Toni) of Independence, Kansas; daughter Lora Cooley (Tim) of Neodesha, Kansas; half-brother, James McNatt of Lyndon, Kansas; and two cherished grandchildren Dylan Farmer (Jaymee) of Sycamore, Kansas, Makayla Cooley of Neodesha, Kansas and a great grandchild on the way.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Edward Wayne Wall will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Wickham Family Funeral Home, 510 North 7th, Fredonia, Kansas.
Memorial remembrances are suggested to the Altoona Cemetery Fund, and they may be left or mailed to Wickham Family Funeral Home.
