Edna Mae Shoop

Edna Mae Shoop, 61, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas, died Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the Via Christi Medical Center-St. Joseph Campus in Wichita, Kansas. She was born June 21, 1945 in Wichita, the daughter of Leo Melvin and Goldie Josephine (Robison) James. She worked for the City of Fredonia at the recycling center for 20 years. On Februay 27, 1989 in Neodesha, Kansas, she married Orville George Shoop. He preceded her in death January 14, 2002. Her Survivors include: Three children, Patricia Witt, Jerry Witt and Larry Witt. Three sisters, Mary Brooks, Neva Millar and Carol Walter Three brothers, Allen James, John James and David James. Graveside services will be held at 1:30P.M. on Friday, December 29, 2006 at the Havana City Cemetery with Orvillle Schertz officiating. Friends may call at Timmons Funeral Home on Friday, 9:00 A.M.-Noon. A memorial has been established in her name with the Cancer Center of Kansas and may be sent to the funeral home.
