Donna Joan White

Donna Joan White, 72, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas, formerly of Dodge City, Kansas, died Friday, June 9, 2006 at the Cherryvale Care Center in Cherryvale, Kansas. She was born August 18, 1933 in Rozel, Kansas, the daughter of Floyd and Effie (Blackwell) French. She had been employed at Riesbig"s Clothing Store. On January 14, 1966 in Miami, Oklahoma, she married Bill White. He survives at their home. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church and enjoyed playing golf. Survivors, in addition to her husband, Bill, include: Two daughters: Janet Sue Warren of Great Bend, KS and Patti Ann Cox of Wichita, KS Five Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild She was preceded in death by her parents. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at the Fredonia City Cemetery with Pastor Gary Sherman of the First Assembly of God Church officiating. Friends may call at Timmons Funeral Home on Monday, 2:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. A memorial has been established in her name with the Alzheimer"s Foundation and may be sent to the funeral home.
