Donald Dean Burchett

Donald Dean Burchett, 87, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Neodesha Care and Rehabilitation in Neodesha, Kansas
He was born to Jody and Viola Burchett, in Copan, Oklahoma on February 27, 1933.
On May 29, 1954 he married Bonnie Ray Charter, she preceded him in death on December 21, 2000.
In February 2003, Donald married Donna Horst, she also preceded him death in 2005.
August 8, 2006, He was united in marriage Joy Stewart, she survives of the home.
Donald was a pastor for 44 years, at Chapel of Praise and Cathedral of Praise. He was the Bishop for Harvest Conference IPHC
for 16 years.
Donald enjoyed going on “visitation” (Pastor Jack Weaver’s boat) fishing. He loved to play fast pitch softball and he was 64 years old when he played his last game. Donald also loved golfing and people.
His heart desire to see the churches in the Independence area worship together, that is why he held Winter Word Camp meetings in Independence for 8 years.
Donald loved young people and fostered 10 children, were he and Bonnie lived on God’s little acres.
Donald is survived by his children, Terry Burchett and spouse Kenni, Belinda Cotton and late husband Billy, Randy Burchett
and spouse Cindy.
Grandchild: David Chism, Shawna and spouse Jesse Adams, Steven and spouse Tina Burchett, Benji and spouse Whitney Chism, Jennifer and spouse Gary Tucker, Cassie Graham, Joshua and spouse Kelley Burchett, and Yalanda and spouse Craig Moore.
Foster Children, Harlis Harriman, Tony Tuner, Tracy Chamblee, and Donnie Baker
Great Grand Children: Jaxon Jarnigan, Jamason Jarnigan, Jennisyn Jarnigan, Sean Graham, Fiona Moore, Colin Moore, Lauryn Chism, Dawson Chism, Autumn Chism, Avery Chism, Wyatt Chism, Keydon Burchett, Ethan Burchett, Shane Burchett, Darian Burchett, Codie, Adams, Chelsea Farmer, Michelle Chamblee, Josiah Adams, Isaac Adams, Jazmin Adams, Zander Adams, Sebastian Adams, Giovanni Adams, Dominique Adams, Zavier Adams, Codie Adams
