Deloris (Dee) Irene Mclaughlin

Deloris (Dee) Irene McLaughlin, 80, passed away peacefully in Cherryvale Ks on Saturday December 11, 2021. Dee was born February 2, 1941, in Independence Kansas to Uel and Hassie (Cutshall) Hagan, She was one of 11 children. Dee grew up and attended school in Cherryvale. On February 1, 1958, Dee married the love of her life, Raymond Joe McLaughlin at the First Baptist Church in Cherryvale. They spent almost 50 years together before Joe's passing in 2008. This union produced four daughters Carol McLaughlin Shelby of Independence, Terri McLaughlin of Independence, Deana McLaughlin (deceased) formerly of Cherryvale and
Stacy McLaughlin of Cherryvale. Dee was also blessed with seven Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren: Deirdre Yaus (Reese), Colleen (Ben) Waldner (Isabella, Katherine, Remington, Scarlette, Aurelia), Amy Jo
Clark
(deceased), Jarod Bayless (Ryan, Jace, Malikye), Kandice (Chad) Adams, Jessica McLaughlin (Justice, Lyberti), Kimberly (Derek) Davis (Bentley, Alec, Joei, Evelynn, TyLeigh). She also was blessed with extended family,
Jerald (Connie) Shelby (Kaci, Kenzy, Kiley) and several more.

Dee loved to go camping and boating, music and recording all that she liked, dancing and romancing with Joe, lots of various craft projects. She loved to travel and more importantly, loved spending time with her family.
Dee retired from Automotive Control Corporation after 25 years of service. She worked in several capacities and lastly in Shipping & Receiving. Dee spent most of her retirement at home doing those crafts she loved and
traveling with husband Joe. Later in life, Dee was a victim of Alzheimers and sadly lost most of her life memories.

Dee was proceeded in death by Husband Joe, Daughter Deana McLaughlin and Granddaughter Amy Jo Clark, Grandparents Levi and Cumi Burkhart, Parents Uel and Hassie Hagan, Brothers Myron (Mike) Hagan, Jimmy Hagan, Clyde Hagan, Sisters, Clarissa (Sandy) Pruitt, Karen Freeman, Opal McDowell, Joyce Hagan. Survivors include Daughters, Carol McLaughlin Shelby, Terri McLaughlin and Stacy McLaughlin, Sisters, Peggy
(Stewart) Chandler of Boston Georgia, Debbie (Brad) Casement of Salem New Hampshire and Brother, Ronald (Debbie) Hagan of Wichita Kansas as well as many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, In-laws, Nieces & Nephews.

Cremation will take place prior to Graveside Celebration of Life. Service will be on Monday, December 20, 2021, at 2:00pm at the Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale Kansas under the direction of Wickham Family Funeral
