Della Lorita Decker

Della Lorita Decker, 86, a longtime resident of Fredonia, Kansas, died Monday, December 21, 2009 at Moundridge Manor in Moundridge, Kansas. She was born May 30, 1923 in Montezuma, Kansas, the daughter of Jacob and Katherine (Koop) Schultz. She was a homemaker. On December 30, 1951 in Fredonia, Kansas, she married Archie Lee Decker. He preceded her in death March 31, 2006. Della was a member of the Church of God in Christ-Mennonite. Her survivors include Ten nieces and nephews: Harold Schultz of Amarillo, TX Wilma Brock of Humboldt, KS Bob Schultz of Auburn, CA Marlene Tharp of San Jose, CA Ladonna Ward of Durango, CO Dean Schultz of Aurora, KS Cliff Schultz of Marquette, KS Everett Schultz of Pretty Prairie, KS James Shultz of Elk City, KS Stephen Shultz of Moundridge, KS Many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at the Church of God in Christ-Mennonite, south of Fredonia. Burial will be in the Emmanuel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at Timmons Funeral Home. A memorial has been established in Della"s name with the Emmanuel Christian School and may be sent to the funeral home.
