David R. Creager

David R. Creager, 75, of Fredonia, Kansas died Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Medicalodges Nursing Home in Independence, Kansas.

David Raymond Creager was born November 5, 1942 in Neodesha, Kansas the son of Giles Creager and Harriet (Adams) Creager. He lived his entire life in Fredonia and graduated from Fredonia High School in 1960.

On December 2, 1991 in Miami, Oklahoma he was united in marriage to Sue Ella Claibourn and she survives at the home.

David was a longtime rancher raising cattle on the family farm. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and will be remembered for his ornery ways.

He was a member of the American Legion, Board member of the Wilson County Historical Society, ABATE, Farm Bureau and Fredonia Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife Sue Ella of the home, step daughter, Becky Hendrickson and husband Rex of Paola, Kansas, grandchildren, Kyle, Katlyn and Kody.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Celebration of Life Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 510 N. 7th, Fredonia, Kansas.

Memorial remembrances are suggested to the Wilson County Historical Society and they may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
