Darline F. Guess

Darline F. Guess, 77, a resident of rural Fredonia, Kansas died Monday, October 7, 2013 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. She was born November 22, 1935 in Buffalo, Kansas, the daughter of Pete and Donna (Bishop) Audiss. On June 30, 1955, Darline was united in marriage to Paul Guess. He survives at their home. Darline was a beloved wife and mother. She was a lifelong housewife, business owner and farmer/rancher. She enjoyed her cows and worked the land alongside Paul for many years. She was a member of the Buffalo United Methodist Church. Survivors in addition to her husband, Paul include: Daughters: Tammy Bergeron and husband, Mike of Kingston, OK Angie Bruch and husband, John of Bonner Springs, KS Five grandchildren Her parents and one sister, Arletta Bishop preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Buffalo United Methodist Church with Pastor Jose Miranda officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Darline"s name with the Buffalo United Methodist Church and contributions can be sent to or left with Timmons Funeral Home.
