Charlott Nadine Cruse

Charlott Nadine Cruse, 79, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Sunday evening, August 4, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin Missouri.
Charlott Nadine Cruse was born November 26, 1939 in rural Independence, Kansas the daughter of Jacob Miller and Thelma Cadwell Miller. She graduated from Thayer High School and attended Pittsburg State University.
She was united in marriage to Walter L. Main Jr. and they were later divorced. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Cruse and he preceded her in death in 2002.
Charlott worked for City Publishing in Independence, Kansas as a cross reference supervisor and retired in 2000.
She loved to crochet and embroidery. Family and friends remember her prayers and blessings she would often recite. She enjoyed working with children and made the best homemade rolls.
Survivors include her children, Phillip Main of Cherryvale, Kansas, Tina Pendleton and her husband Tony of Roswell, Georgia, Alveda Campbell of Cherryvale, Kansas, brother, Pete Miller of Grove, Oklahoma, 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Pamela Musgrove.
Celebration of Life Services will be held 1:30 P.M., Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Emmanuel Chapel in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Independence, Kansas.
