Charles Ogle

Charles Ogle, 89, died on Jan. 4, 2017, at Fredonia Regional Hospital.He was born Dec. 23, 1927, to Louis and Verna Ogle. He graduated from Fredonia High School in 1946.He was a veteran of the Korean War, a lifetime member of the VFW Post 3018.On March 27, 1951, he married Georgia Luellen in Benton, Ark. She preceded him in death on June 6, 1983.He is survived by one daughter, Sharon Perkins (Jeff) of Garden City; one son, Charles Ogle, Jr. (Dulce) of Fredonia; one granddaughter, Heather Salyer Surprise, Ariz.; one grandson, Raine Ogle of Fredonia; one great- grandson, Alex Salyer of Surprise Ariz.; one great-granddaughter Emma Salyer of Surprise, Ariz.; three brothers, Alfred Ogle of Wichita, Rex Ogle of Fredonia, Garry Ogle of Fredonia; one sister, Alice Ogle of Fredonia; numerous nieces and nephews. His companion of 25 years, Phyllis Ogle.He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Louis Ogle.Viewing will be from 5 to 7 on Friday, Jan. 6, at Wickham Funeral Home, Fredonia.Graveside services at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Jan. 7, at the Weakly Cemetery New Albany. 94
