Charles “Charlie” Nathan Hole was born on July 22, 1935, in Shaw, Kansas to Nathan and Eula (Barker) Hole. Charlie passed away peacefully on August 31, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas, surrounded by his beloved family. Charlie served proudly in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1960.

Beyond his professional life, Charlie found joy in dancing, crocheting, and participating in potluck dinners, where everyone enjoyed his contagious humor. These interests reflected his warm personality and his love for community and family gatherings.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 63 beautiful years, Beverly; his siblings, Lester Hole (Kay), Earl Wayne Hole (Marie) and Janice Hole; his children Charlotte Stout (Ed) of Chanute, KS, Michael Hole (Emma) of Chanute, KS, Monty Hole (Dalene) of Salina, KS, John Hole (Michelle) of Humboldt, KS, and Mindy Churning (Chris) of Chanute, KS. His enduring legacy continues through his grandchildren: Anne, Mary Beth, Crystal, Dawn, Rianna, Becca, Nathan, Malachi, Racheal, Johnny, Kaylie, Emmie, Melissa, and Michael, along with seven great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, Charlie Earl Hole, sisters Anna Fegel, Ruth Russell, Jean Wilson, Colleen Westendorf, and Ivah Byers, his brother Xury Hole, and an infant sister, Darlene Hole.
