Carolyn J. Scott, 79, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at her home in Cherryvale.
Carolyn Joan Scott was born April 30, 1942, in Neodesha, Kansas the daughter of John Henry Adams and Martha Francis (Barns) Adams. She grew up in Neodesha and graduated from Neodesha High School.
On August 10, 1970, in Miami, Oklahoma she was united in marriage to Jim Scott, and he survives at the home.
She worked as a waitress and cook for many years.
Carolyn loved to crochet, paint ceramics, gardening, listening to music, playing cards, and collecting owls. She grew pretty flowers and plants and was a great cook.
Survivors include her husband of the home, children, John Scott, Jody Scott, Tom Scott, Jimmy Scott Jr., David Scott, Teresa Norris, 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 9 sisters and granddaughter, Lisa Ruth.
Celebration of Life Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 510 North 7th, Fredonia, Kansas 66736.
Inurnment will take place at Farmington Cemetery north of Fredonia.
