Carol L. Throckmorton

Carol L. Throckmorton, 57, of Altoona, Kansas passed away Sunday evening at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.
Carol Lucile Throckmorton was born June 11, 1961 in Eureka, Kansas the daughter of Charles Albert Williams and Virginia (Nickels) Williams. She grew up and attended grade school in Toronto, Kansas and later attended Eureka Kansas High School. She received her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Butler County Community College.
On April 6, 1981 in El Dorado, Kansas she was united in marriage to George Eugene Lee Throckmorton and he survives at the home.
Carol was a homemaker. She enjoyed couponing, going to yard sales and entering Sweepstakes. She won a trip to the Super Bowl, WrestleMania, and a home makeover. She donated many of her prizes to local community organizations. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of the home , three children, Anthony Throckmorton and his wife Cassandra of Iola, Kansas, Angelique Kaufman and her husband Tyson of Iola, Kansas, Aaron Throckmorton of Norfolk, Virginia, two sisters, Mary Eastman of Emporia, Kansas, Ruth King of Toronto, Kansas, 3 grandchildren, JesseJames Throckmorton, Lexianna Throckmorton and Natalie Kaufman.
She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Alessandra Throckmorton.
Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 3, 2019 at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 510 North 7th, Fredonia, Kansas.
