Carl John Rice

Carl John Rice was born February 5, 1970, in Oklahoma and was 52 years old when he passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas.

He was united in marriage to Karen Bleicher, and they later divorced. He was married to Carla Dawn Sprague, and they later were divorced. Carl was united in marriage to Paula Myskow March 2, 2002, in Independence, Kansas and they were later divorced.

Carl graduated from Cherryvale High School and Independence Community College with a degree in Blueprint Reading.

Carl enjoyed restoring cars and trucks. He will be remembered as being a loving dad and grandfather. He was also a loyal loving husband.

He worked at Charloma, Matcor, Dart Energy and most recently was self employed restoring antique cars and trucks.

Survivors include his children, Carlie, Curtis, Paul, John Paul, Franci, Paulina, Carl John, William Joseph, son in laws, Dylan, and Kyler. Grandchildren, Kaydence, Stetson, Joleane, Sage, Bristol, and Aurora.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl James Rice and Grace Rice, daughter, Gracie-June Myskow-Rice, sister, Bonnie Bergerson, and brother-in-law Bill Bergerson.
