Bobby Joe "Bob" Driskel

Bobby Joe “Bob” Driskel, 81, of rural Mound Valley, Kansas passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022 at his home.
Bob was born July 26, 1940 in Cherryvale, Kansas the son of James Driskel and Gladys (Coy) Driskel. He grew up in Cherryvale and attended Cherryvale schools.
He worked for the Coffeyville Packing House and Sidman’s Restaurant in Coffeyville. He was also a farmer for many years.
Bob enjoyed reading the Bible, going on walks and country life. He will be remembered for his love for Jesus.
He was a member of the New Life Praise and Worship Church in Cherryvale.
Survivors include his siblings, Richard Driskel of Commerce, Oklahoma, Norma and Gene Palmer of Mound Valley, Kansas, sister in laws, Joan Driskel of Orlando, Florida, Mary Driskel of Fort Scott, Kansas, nieces and nephews, Norma Jean and Kevin Shire, Dale and Jen Palmer, Loretta Palmer, Jimmy and Julie Driskel, Judy Driskel, Jerry and Mary Driskel and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jim Driskel and nephew, Rick Driskel.
Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 11, 2022 at New Life Praise and Worship in Cherryvale.
Inurnment will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale.
