Bobbie Reger, 78, a resident of rural Fredonia, Kansas, formerly of Wichita, Kansas, died Friday, January 9, 2009 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. She was born March 5, 1930 in Benedict, Kansas, the daughter of Robert and Madge (O"Brien) Prunty. She was a graduate of Benedict High School. Bobbie was retired from Beechcraft-Raytheon in Wichita, where she was a parts distributor for 17 years. In 1946, Bobbie married Frank Boyle. He preceded her in death in 1972. In 1975, she married Joe Bob Reger. He survives at their home. Survivors, in addition to her husband, Joe, include: Two sons: Steven W. Boyle of Wichita, KS Thomas E. Boyle of Wichita, KS Two step-children: Linda Throckmorton of Arlington, TX Larry J. Reger of Augusta, KS Two sisters: Delores Palmer of Fredonia, KS Sharon Sandbothe of Fredonia, KS 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Eloise Culbertson; and three sons, Michael K. Boyle, Patrick Boyle and James David Boyle. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at the Weakley Cemetery, near New Albany, Kansas, with Arnold Thomas officiating. Friends may call at Timmons Funeral Home on Monday, 3:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. and Tuesday, 9:00 A.M.-Noon. A memorial has been established in her name with the Alzheimer"s Foundation and may be sent to the funeral home. Words of condolence for the family may be left on this website.
