Anna Jeanne "Ann" Lynch

Anna Jeanne "Ann" Lynch, 90, a resident of Plano, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 at her home. Ann was born October 15, 1923 in Buffalo, Kansas, the daughter of Daniel Douglas Follmer and Ora Pearl (Bartels) Follmer. Ann worked for the Army Civil Service for more than 30 years. She enjoyed playing Bridge, tending to her roses, and solving crossword puzzles. Ann had a sweet disposition and cared much for her extended family. Her favorite color was blue. She loved dogs and most of all, her children. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Lynch, brothers Charles and Elmer Follmer, sisters Mary Alice Sands and Patricia Ruth Bauer, and her son, Dennis John Breda. Her survivors include sons Douglas Adrian Breda, Stephen Peter Breda, Daniel Follmer Lynch, daughters Kathryn Ann Mekhitarian, Margaret Muenchau, and sister Pauline June Eagle. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2013, 1 pm, at the Buffalo Cemetery, Buffalo Kansas, with Pastor Carl Ellis of the First United Methodist Church in Fredonia officiating.
