Aaron Lemuel Bowlin

Aaron Lemuel Bowlin, a beloved husband, father, and son, passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 1, 2024, at the age of 57. 

 Born on June 25, 1967, in Claremore, Oklahoma, Aaron lived a life marked by service and dedication, and a proud veteran, Aaron served his country in the United States Navy for four years. His dedication to family matched his commitment to duty and honor. 

 He married Tammy Mock on January 1, 1999, in Chanute, Kansas, and they built a warm and loving home together. Aaron graduated from Smithville, Oklahoma, in 1985. He worked as a Supervisor at Ash Grove Cement Plant, where he was respected by his colleagues. Beyond his work, Aaron had a passion for hunting and fishing, treasuring time spent with family and friends. He created countless memories during family gatherings and outdoor adventures, always cherishing moments that brought joy and laughter. 

 Aaron is survived by his devoted wife, Tammy, and children: Stevie (Miguel) Barajas of San Diego, CA, Soshia Davis of Chanute, KS, and Charles Davis of Chanute, KS. He is also survived by his loving parents, Kenneth Bowlin and Nelda Bowlin of Foyil, Oklahoma, and his siblings, Tim (Lois) Bowlin of Nashville, AR, and Latisha Fisher of Ponca City, OK. His legacy continues with his grandchild, Nova Barajas. Additional surviving family: Uncle Johnny Bowlin, Mother-in-law Darlene Green, Sister-in-law Terri Davis, Brother-in-law Gary Green - Nieces: Ashley Lansdown, Megan Sanford, Morgan Lansdown, Natalie Davis and Hannah Fisher - Nephews: Cody Bowlin, Corey Bowlin, Chris Bowlin, Rickey Seaboldt, Trenton Green and several cousins, great nieces and nephews. 

 Aaron is preceded in death by his nephew Caleb Bowlin, grandparents Cecil and Nannie Bowlin, and Jim and Louise Edwards who will be remembered in the hearts of those who loved him. As we remember Aaron, we celebrate a life dedicated to family, service, and the beauty of the great outdoors. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

 A Celebration of Life Graveside Memorial Service will be held, on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery Chanute, Kansas. Chanute Honor Guard will present Military Honors. Following the graveside service the celebration of Aaron’s life will continue at the American Legion 301 North Evergreen Chanute, Kansas from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to join both services.

 Services are under the guidance of Wickham Family Funeral Home 500 North Forest Ave. Chanute, Kansas.
