Mary Ann Bryan, 75, of Thayer, Kansas passed away at her home on January 26, 2023.


Mary Ann was born to Walter Warden and Jessie June (Tafoya) Bryan on December 29, 1947, in Neodesha Kansas.

She graduated from Neodesha, Kansas with the class of 1966.


Mary Ann was united in marriage to Larry Charles Sandbothe, who preceded her in death, then married Billie Joe McCoy, who also preceded her in death.


She was a homemaker and enjoyed drawing, playing pool, sewing, and her recently deceased fur baby Peanut Butter, whom she loved dearly as well as her family and friends.


Mary Ann is survived by her daughters; Denna (Daryll) Arnold of Neodesha, KS, and Alisha McCoy, and her significant other (Cody Henry) of Thayer, KS, two sons; Layton (Kenna) McCoy of Arkansas, and Jeffery McCoy of Independence, KS, one sister; Francie McGinnis, of Parsons, KS., and her many grandchildren Tifny Ecton, Kristen Howard, Kelsey Denoon, Jaleesa and Desiree Scott, Taylor Monne, Heaven, Bryce, Nylea, and Aubri Sallee, Mathis, Keyton, and Cadence Sanchez, Elijah, and Eleya McCoy and fourteen great-grandchildren.


She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother Walt Bryan and his wife Cheryl, and one sister, Delores Cohee.


Memorials are suggested to Thayer City Library and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.


A visitation will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Wickham Family Funeral Home 500 North Forest Ave. Chanute, KS, followed by a graveside service at Thayer City Cemetery, Thayer, KS.
