Jack R Ragan

Jack R. Ragan, 92, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away at home surrounded by family Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

Jack was born on May 1, 1930, in Cherryvale, Kansas to Laude and Delia Ragan. He lived in Cherryvale his entire life. He married Billie June Hills on December 26, 1951. She preceded him in death in 2010 after 59 years of marriage.

Jack was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 441 and worked on many different construction projects throughout the years. After his retirement, a hobby of buying and renovating houses became a second career.

Jack had many interests and hobbies. He enjoyed hunting, bowling, playing pool, going to casinos, restoring corvairs, remodeling houses and especially playing golf. He loved spending time with his family and was always there for them when they needed him.

Jack is survived by his Children, daughters Diana Dunham, Susan Gail (Carl) Whitson, Terry (Carl) Morgan, son, Michael (Missy) Ragan; 10 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren, and 19 great great grandchildren.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Billie June, daughter, Leah Carter, a grandson, and great grandson.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial remembrances be given to Harry Hines Memorial Hospice and they made be left or mailed to Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas

Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Tuesday December 27th 1:00 p.m. at Wickham Family Funeral Home 216 East 4th St. Cherryvale, Ks. 67335
