Wade, 95, of Independence, Kansas passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 with her family by her side.Funeral Memorial Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 14, 2013 at the Cherryvale Christian Church with Danny Perryman, Don Hazelwood and Russell Gordon officiating.Friends may sign the register book from 12Noon until 5:00 P.M. Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Wickham Family Funeral Home of Cherryvale." Family visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home."" Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale.Edith Ann Wade was born June 24, 1918 in Caddo, Colorado the daughter of Richard Wilborn and Sylvia (Craft) Wilborn." She graduated in 1937 from Okmulgee High School in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.She was united in marriage to Thomas H. Wade and he preceded her in death June 22, 1987.Edith lived in Liberty, Kansas, Cherryvale, Kansas and has resided in Independence, Kansas since 1987." She was a housewife and was a church member of the Wesleyan Holiness Alliance in Independence, Kansas.Survivors include three daughters, Carol of Independence, KS, Judy of Independence, KS, Nancy of Spring Hill, TN, three sons, Dwayne of Wichita, KS, Thomas L. of Independence, KS, John of Independence, KS, twelve grandchildren and thirty four great grandchildren.
