Debra J. Linnebur

DEBRA JO LINNEBURDebra Jo Linnebur, 56, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at her home.Debra Jo Linnebur was born May 18, 1958 in Independence, Kansas the daughter of Clarence Patterson and Phyllis (Duncan) Patterson. She grew up in Independence and graduated from Independence High School in 1976. She graduated from Independence Community College in 1990 with a Mid Management Certificate Degree.On November 7, 1979 in Miami, Oklahoma she was united in marriage to Shelby Linnebur and they later divorced in 1988.Debra worked in management for Alco and TGY in Independence for many years. Later she worked for McClain"s a distributor for convenient stores as area sales supervisor until ill health required her to retire.She was a life member of the Independence VFW and member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.Debra collected grizzly bears for a hobby and liked to have fun.Survivors include daughter, Amanda (Linnebur) Leedy and her husband David of Dyersburg, Tennessee, mother, Phyllis Bonner of Cherryvale, brothers, Paul Patterson and his wife Kathy of Elk City, Kansas, Larry Patterson and his wife Pat of Kingsville, Texas, Michael Patterson of Coffeyville, Kansas, Cecil Patterson and his wife Diana of Odessa, Texas and granddaughter, Alayna Jo Leedy of Dyersburg, Tennessee.Cremation has taken place with Reflection of Debra"s life memories with family and friends to be held Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas. Private family inurnment will take place at a later time in Thayer City Cemetery.Memorial remembrances in lieu of flowers are suggested to the Cherryvale Fire/EMS or Mercy Hospice and they may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
