EARL E. WOOLDRIDGEEarl E. Wooldridge, 62, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.Earl E. Wooldridge was born December 21, 1953 in Oswego, Kansas the son of Earl L. Wooldridge and Lois (James) Wooldridge. He grew up in Cherryvale and attended Cherryvale schools. He later attended Coffeyville Community College and Coffeyville Technical School.He served in the Kansas Army National Guard for many years and was later honorably discharged.Earl worked as a computer programmer for John Deere in Coffeyville since April 24, 1972 and was looking forward to retirement. He loved his job and being around his many coworkers.His favorite hobbies were electronics, 3D printing, playing pool especially snooker. He enjoyed bowling and being part of family gatherings. He also taught Karate to many family and friends.Earl will be remembered for his huge smile, for being a positive person and most importantly he loved to show off his grandchildren.Survivors include his children, Melissa Housley and husband James of Sikeston, Missouri, Jamie Hodge and husband Steve of Independence, Kansas, Cory Wooldridge of Independence, Kansas, Matthew Wooldridge of Salina, Kansas, grandchildren, Tayler Housley, Sabrina Housley, Jade Housley, Ryleigh Housley, Troy Clark and his wife Whitley and their daughter Brixlee, Ashton Hodge, Addisyn Hodge, a baby Hodge grandchild on the way, Breeze Reed, Jace Wooldridge, Sullivan Wooldridge, Lanie Wooldridge and great grandchild, Mason Housley.Cremation has taken place with Graveside Memorial Services being held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Mound Valley Cemetery, Mound Valley, Kansas.Friends and Family may sign the register book from 12Noon until 6:00 P.M.
